Looking for a needle in the haystack (a.k.a. a 1971 half ton, 2WD with V8)

I've got a protect-o-plate that I always assumed was for my truck, come to find out it's not. So before I file it back away I thought I would give the board a shot for finding its rightful owner. (slim chance I know) The truck was originally sold in Liberal, KS so odds are it's still in the midwest. The truck in question will be a 1971 half ton, 2WD with a V8. VIN # CE141S643***
IF your VIN matches this one, give me the last three numbers and if it's a match I'll get it to you.

It would be very cool. I've thought about doing a title search on it in hopes that maybe they have my protect-o from when the same person owned both our trucks at the same time and got them switched. But I'll settle for finding the one needle for now.

Here's one I found on ebay.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6760
Basically just a warranty/service card with a metal plate that has the VIN and original dealers info on it.

The dealer was Hood Chevrolet-Buick, 202 N. Grant Ave, Liberal
I did a search for them but nothing came up, I guess they're out of business.
