non ac vs. ac cab ?
I have found a very nice blazer body that I can replace my rusty one with. The one I have found is an ac truck and mine is not. I want to keep mine original and matching my option list. My ? is what are the differences on the firewall? Are the openings at the heater and ac boxes the same? Is it as simple as welding up the ac dash openings?

It is a little more involved than that. The firewall has holes to deal with. On your dash it might be easier to swap dashes and you would probably be able to sell your AC dash.

Use that hole and the big hole that is the same on both to line stuff up to make your paper then metal template for the part you weld in. Almost all the holes you need to make have dimples in the sheet metal to line your drill bit up with.
