Goodmark Short Bed cross sills

Hey,
I have a chance to buy some Goodmark parts at dealer cost. I'm going to buy as much stuff as I can to build a brand new shortbox. What size cross sills and what quantity do I need? This will be for a wood floor.
Isn't there a tech article on building a whole bed from repro parts? Does anyone have this link?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Josh

You might want to get a Restoration packet from GM. They are free for a phone call.

Call 1-800-222-1020 and have your VIN number ready. Be sure to verify for the truck, they sent me the auto info the first time.

Lot of useful info in there.

You can purchase the fleetside bedsides, wheel houses, tailgate, and front bed panel for a wood bed floor from Goodmark and that is it. The bed cross sills that they have are for a steel bed bottom. I know this because I was the one who sent in the parts to have them reproduced and have sold many since. Mar-k is the only one reproducing the wood bed cross sills at this time, so you will have to order through them or someone who deals with them. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

All of that info helps. Thanks for the responses. I thought there was a magazine that did an article on making a complete bed.

Making your own bed

The Early Calssic Enterprises web site had a tech article about building a bed from repro parts. It was part of an article on making a shortbed out of a long bed if I remember right.
