Can I get rid of my Vapor Canister?
I have a 1970 c10 from california and want to know if I can get rid of the Vapor Canister and all the crap that is with it.....Anybody know...I also have a funny looking hose coming from my exhast manifold that mus have something to do with California Emissions/Smog....I live in South Dakota now...

I take it out of all my vehicles I just cut off the vent line that goes to the gas tank and put a cap on it.

Make sure you use a vented gas cap. John

Tank swap coming up...
I am going to be putting an under bed tank in so that will eliminate that line. What about the other lines? Do I just cap them off as well....?

Yuba City, CA..... I lived in Colusa for about 3 years....My bother owns the Jackpot Food Mart conveience store there.....He gave me my 70 short stepside. I still have the Cali plates on it..... He had it the whole time I was there and I never thought twice about it...I guess I had my 57 Chevy Car then though....
