tilt wheel question

will a tilt column and wheel out of a 72 bolt right into a 67 or 68?

You'll likely need the intermediate shaft too.

I've had 3 68 trucks, and all of them had the long 1 piece column that went to the box, without any intermediate shaft.

When I swapped the columns out, I just pulled the whole thing and installed a later coulmn with intermediate shaft.

if i have a complete column from steering box up out of a 67 and a complete column out of a 72 (tilt) will i still need this intermediate shaft your talking about? my idea is to just swap them, 67 into 72 and vice versa. if i have to get a bunch of parts im not going to bother.

If you have everything from the steering box up on both trucks you can swap without too much trouble.
