Here is a Before Pic

Ive Owned This Truck Since October 2002 I spotted it at a local car lot seen it with 4 mud tires and thought it was a 4x4 turned around To go look turned out to be a 2WD C20 454/Th400

At the Time I was Driving An 89F150 That i had to take off a Contracting Job Since the Guy Was A Deadbeat. Value -1000$

After Four Visits And Much Jewwing Down Later I got Him To Swap it for the F150 And 100 dollars.

Think i Got A Good Deal? I was More than happy to get rid of that POS 302 No pulling main rattling Ford.

I drove it a little over a year Then Sold The Big Block For Enough To Build A Torque 355 . After Swapping engines and getting the 350 all installed The Trans Went Out Three Days Later. 300 Dollars Later New Engine/Rebuilt Trans W/Shift Kit

I have Done Tons Of Other Stuff But I Figured Id Put A Brief History And Before And After Pics To This Thread.

Two More Before's The First One Is With The Big Block With 7" Wheels all the way around & Stock Grille.

Look at the front fender gap on the very top pic compared to this one It Raised Up A Few Inches From BB-SB .

The 2nd Is Pic Of the Coil Antenna From the Cb Radio Days. Used To Have 1000 Watts Of Rf Output Come Out that Antenna.

The front Tires Are 265/75R16 The Rear Are 285/75R16 On the older pic im running same size rear tires but 235/85s in the front

You can tell how much better 285s look mounted on 10" wheels althou they will work on a 7.

67 with 68 bed and front fenders I had traded an 83 Firebird I had for it Body-Body Swap. Then Sold it to a boy on payments for 1500 he paid up three weeks and then got three weeks late so i repossed it with his engine and trans.

But i was nice enuff to give him back all his engine trans and stuff he put on the truck . Kept his 300 dollars though.

I then put in A T5 and L69 305 That i bought out of two different 84 F Bodys And i installed a Locker out of a 90+ chevy truck

It was almost done when i traded it with the exception of the master cylinder for the clutch and some minor this and thats.

I think it was a good swap considering the time and qaulity of materials My friend has put into my truck

He is using The Same Urethane Primer thats on that 67 Wich he primed that.

And Using Dupont ChromaBase Urethane Paint And Dupont Clear .

Ive removed all the interior, glass, grille, etc So there wont be any tape lines

And ive Put a thick Coating of under coat On Hood Side Of the wheel tubs and My Friend sprayed under the hood and cleared it So it should look Pretty good when its all back together.

All I Lack Now Is Installing TBI Fuel Inection & Serpentine Belt Off My 89 And a Few New Interior Pieces .

There is just a tiny difference between a c-10 to a LUV. :p Very cool truck ya that would even be better if it was 4 wheel drive.

There was a LUV sitting at the junkyard here that I grabbed the fender emblems off of. Really the only thing worth saving on the thing, lol. Really mint emblems though.
