A/C Vent Hose Clearance

We have 3 sets of the 67-72 4pc a/c vent hose kits we received from our supplier that we no longer stock. They are the corrugated plastic hoses, not the oem cloth style. $28 ea (one 4pc kit) delivered in the U.S. When they're gone, they're gone. You call can with visa or mastercard or use paypal. 765-344-2906.

Do you still have the one set? I'm curious how these would work for installation now then removal and reinstallation after I finish my cab. Will they stay relatively pliable, or are they gonna dry up and get brittle like the OEM? Its not looking like I'm gonna get my cab done before winter, and would really love to have a defroster this winter, but don't want it badly enough to buy two sets.

10-08-2004 There are 1 set left.

Tynee I would think the plastic hoses will get brittle eventually but not as soon as cloth. The oem clotch take quite a few years to get brittle like your 30 year old hoses. But this a/c hose kit won't help you, it is just for the a/c vents, it does not include defrost hoses. You would need the 6pc a/c duct & defrost hose set here http://www.gmcpauls.com/heater_&_ac_2.htm but we only sell them in oem cloth.
or here for the 2pc defrost hose set http://www.gmcpauls.com/Heater&AC.htm

Tynee, Mr. Obvious says that most auto parts stores sell the hose in different sizes for cheap-cheap. You can get it in any length. The plastic will last longer then you will expect if you don't split it in the install process. Also consider using plastic ties or duct tape in critical places which will help keep them on and prevent damage.
