Non A/C Heater core R&R...Acording to Jewels.

*NOTE...This is taken almost word for word from Jewls POST on the subject.*

Hi all! Replaced my heater core this weekend, and I made sure to take lots of pics. Thought I'd post them. Enjoy!
marked the hood with chalk, so we could remove it be sure not to accidently wipe off the markings...esp if you have a nice paint job....

got my hood off...

here is where it was busted.... (i sat on it at the First Ohio Board Meet!)...

and we had to bypass the core until i fixed it...

now i'm droppin the fender...

cool t-shirt, eh?

that nut underneath the inner fender is a b*$#! to get to! even after i dropped the fender a bit....

Remove the cable in the heater box...

Make sure to clean out all the trash and dead animals out of here that you can.,

And in here after taking out the core.

The core is held in with a small wire, 2 screws/bolts hold it. Here is the wire on the way back in with the new core...

Time to reinstall the box to the fire wall...and that cable and clip again.

now i'm bolting back on the inner fender (always take body panels slowly - one thread at a time for each bolt )

and now i'm talking with a fellow board member (longhorn man) on the phone....

here she is - all bolted back together. Don't forget to bolt down the ground wire for the blower motor.

New heater hoses are a good idea too sence you're in there already....
