Last summer. Bit of snow on the ground now. The Benz is garaged for the winter and I sold the fj40 to a friend who is doing a restoration.

Re: show us your driveway pics
K5 mule getting a fresh power plant. I lost the Original motor a few months ago. Snapped a piston ring and it torched #2 cylinder. I had just started taking the C30 apart to re-furb it for a work truck. So, one down and another to go...

Hot ziggity, that is one purdy color combo! Sometimes I wish mine was blue instead of orange.

Re: show us your driveway pics
thanks for saying so.... that color has grown on me I actually purchased this truck in Michigan with this paint job on it sat in his barn for ten years. The PO was going to build for his wife then took ill. I got her home and just gave her a bath and the finish is in great shape...im just getting around to putting my SWB frame back together for it

Re: show us your driveway pics
I'll play.
88 GMC Rally Van - original paint and interior, this might be my favorite "old" ride - turn the key and go. 76 GMC Sierra Grande - original paint/interior shortbed with 350/350, a/c, tilt, am/fm, rally wheels, etc - super clean 67 Suburban - a no frills old survivor with 292 and 3 speed |

Re: show us your driveway pics
Thought I would post a new picture, last time was a year and a half ago. Mamma's new Ram pick up, it's replacing the Traverse, that she didn't like. No more red 08 Silverado (stolen last year) Same '69 c20 and '71 c10 in the garage with the '54 five window still under repair

Re: show us your driveway pics
I bought my wife a new Blazer in 1985. There was absolutely no reason to hang on to one of them.

Re: show us your driveway pics
I see. I was using a bit of sarcasm there. It just amazes me when somebody is able to stick it out for the long haul and hang on to a nice ride (or rides). For some reason, I get tired of looking down the same hood, and without fail, I always regret it when I sell. The 98 Z71 in my picture, I have had for nearly 15 years. That is a record for me, and I have no plans to sell it.
