Personally I would have gone 1/16" lower
Seriously, I would never want a truck that low myself, but I think they are very cool, and I have so enjoyed following along with your plan! Looks awesome

Thank you Dino been learning a lot from your builds....borrowed ur inner fender roll trick...worked out really good. I'm starting to like the slots too but am afraid I might have to narrow my rear end for the bed to clear them they are 15x10 all the way around.....I really want a set of newer tahoe Ltz 20's and since they have a high offset I might be ok....I hope!

Thank you clemdaddy! Been following your box truck build, I'm kind of interested to see how you utilize the storage compartments. Wish my bosses would buy an old tow truck like I have posted before so we could bag it and use it for advertisement! Thank you for following along!

Haha Thank you! I like to go all out when I work on a project. My girlfriend always tells me I don't know when to quit and let things be. I figured I wanted it slammed and didn't want to look back and wish I did things differently. So here I am lots of fitting grinding and welding and more grinding and fitting but am having a blast with it. Thank you for following along. Things should start moving fast now... Some nice updates in the very near future so stay tuned!

Click on the icon just to the right of the quote icon for all the one's you want to respond to, and I think you need to click the quote icon on the last one you choose... I will check later when I an on the computer to make sure, I've only done it a few times so it is not fresh in my technologically impaired brain... Have fun!

Thanks Bomp! I really enjoy family time. Can't wait till this baby is drivable so we can cruise to all the local car shows together... One of my life long dreams slowly coming true..show worthy family classic. Glad to see your back jamming out after having to do light duty for a bit. I'm watching and learning as usual.

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Took one last cool pic before I ripped it back apart... Would love this pic as my avatar if anyone could help.

Ripped back down
Welded up my lower shock brackets and finished welding my lower bag brackets on my trailing arms...( i am so loving having a welder on hand now im looking around looking for more stuff to weld up lol)hoping to blast those this week so I can prime them up.....finally I am getting closer. Just want to fit the motor one more time with the cab on to make sure I'm good then breaking everything down to the bare from so I can blast and paint thing and start making some real progress!

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Coming along! As for setting that pic as your avatar, you need to resize it to what ever the forum allows.

If you are running windows, google for "windows image resizer powertoy" and download that. Then you can just right-click on the image and resize it to what ever you want, and save.

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Just a suggestion have you thought bout beefing up your trailing arms just run a strip of metal the length of the arms then jus weld it up will keep your arms from trying to split

I actually want them to still flex a little so I don't rip my trailing arm crossmember instead. Too late now already blasted them and started priming them up lol.
