Re: 1985 chevy c10 swb
Possibly a drop this summer but right now trying to solve this starter problem I'm having. When I go to crank it the starter sometimes grinds the flywheel really hard cant seem to solve the problem. I think it's the starter bolts getting warn out and letting the starter twist out of place when I turn it over

Re: 1985 chevy c10 swb
hmm. it sounds like your on the right track. but i cant really be much of a help i never had much for starter problems with my truck just that i mixed up the wires one time and it would not turn over. did you replace the starter when you swaped the motor? if not my advice is scrap the old one and buy a new one. haha sorry i can not be much of a help. good luck

Re: 1985 chevy c10 swb
Here are my new valve covers i recently got. old ones started to leak pretty bad. still need a oil cap and new breather to match.. had to replace one of the plug wires. headers burnt one of them up. need a new set anyway...

Re: 1985 chevy c10 swb
That pickup looks awesome! A few pages back you mentioned lowering it... Don't do it! It looks perfect just the way it is! Maybe, and a big maybe, when it's time for tires go up to the 255/70's, but otherwise don't change a thing!
