Re: What's your trucks name ?
I wanted to build a shop truck but i was struggling to find a fictitious name for my truck. a friend of mine came to work one day wearing a Callahan auto parts shirt. the decision was made. One of my wife and my favorite movies.

Re: What's your trucks name ?
When we got the truck, my teenage daughter (who helps me work on it!) and I decided it was a he because of it's big, brutish looks and its power. Then we were talking about the G-Macs that we had heard of, so we ruled that out. We have a running joke that when we can't think of the name of something, we say gimmick. (Hey, hand me that hammer, it's next to that shiny gimmick.)
So we settled on GiMmiCk!

Re: What's your trucks name ?
This is Strokey. I've had it about 17 years, and finally pegged its official name this year as it has been getting a "mini" re-restoration as of lately. The name comes from the previous owner's son-in-law. As I'm not sure if I can share the full story on here without the post removal, we'll just say its short for something he calls people who do dumb things. Also, when it was restored in 1998, we found his gas charge card stuck under the dash pad. Everything that I drive has a name or some identifier to it.

Re: What's your trucks name ?
Trixie. So named because she's "tricksy" - every time we go to fix one issue, we find three more! I swear I must be getting close to the end of the list. My wife swears there is no end of the list. She's probably right.

Re: What's your trucks name ?
When I got her back in November, she was Big Ugly. After a few months of daily driving, she is now THE CRUSHER (yes, said in all caps).
Lumber rack has been removed, but otherwise, this is how I drive to work everyday.

Lots of cool names here.
Meet "Hoffa" as in Jimmy Hoffa. My wife named it this since it is a GMC. It stuck!

Re: What's your trucks name ?
"Oldred"
My Dad named it this when I was a boy. We were out hunting and I asked what the pickups name was. It has been "Oldred" ever since. Here is (as my dad says) "what's left of Oldred"....
