If the blem works as a regular one would, I'll take that unless you're already got me a standard one on the way.

Re: In cluster Tachometer Bracket 64-66 - question HELP

A ttt question. I’m getting this beautiful mod installed and need some guidance. Is there an installation conversation already going? So I do finally got the dash out after wrestling with oversized dash metal holding in....had to quit 3 times before she finally came out. I’m looking at the interior black front plate and there are two yellow/Orange “gels” is what we call them here in ca making TV. They are “over Speed” and. “ Tand’em lock”. They appear cracked and I’d like to replace them. Can’t seen to find them after some considerable searching. Anyone have an idea on those and what did you put in the 4 tubes, two with the green turn signal cover and other two are empty. What have you used there in place of the 55 year onl paper tube?. Thanks, this is a great option that all members should consider, it looks great.thanks for reading my Italian length note and for any guidance. CousinTone

You can take the “over speed” one and print out on a clear sheet-“OIL”-and put that in that red plastic spot, then put a “T” in your gauge oil line at the block and add back in an idiot light oil sender and put a bulb in there from the oil light sender. Then if you lose pressure and don’t happen to be looking at the gauge, the red light comes on and your little printed “OIL” tag illuminates.....see FAQ for going from warning lights to gauges....courtesy of Ray McAvoy....

My install thread. And some people re-printed "overdrive" for those other light sockets if they had a 700r4 trans. There should be a thread for that somewhere.

Re: In cluster Tachometer Bracket 64-66

Hey rideblue, I bought one of your brackets and it was pure perfection. It looks great. Only unrelated issue I need a midplate...I screwed mine up bad and can find anyone who repops them and there aren’t any on the boards. Do you have an extra one by chance from a prototype cluster you’re not using? I would be indebted to you and even name my next child, boy or girl, Rideblue. It has a certain ring to it. LOL. let me know, I appreciate your response and thanks again for the quality bracket. CousinTone

Friendly suggestion, don’t wait till you need it. Order when they are available. Rideblue goes 6 months or longer to get them done when he’s out. It’s worth every penny. Coupled with the Bosch small sweep tach, it’s like stock but way better. IMHO
