I’m going to go carb on my 53 Packard Clipper Deluxe Sportster. You can’t reproduce that classic look with EFI.

The fuel system is finished! We modified the universal 0-30 ohm sender and included it in the tank.

Excellent progress! I can't wait to see a shot of the finished wiring, all tucked into place. How many hours do you figure you guys have invested in just the wiring?

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

1. The problem, the tensioner pulley was to big and left no room for the hose
2. I solved it by going from a 3.5” pulley to a 3”.
3. The belt fitted correctly
4. we also did some more wire covering

2. Here’s the backside
3. all 4 of the injector plugs on the driver’s bank were broken and wouldn’t stay on, wound up replacing them all. Also did some more Wire covering

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

oh shoot, that'll be a good seat. i like how the middle actually totally folds down vs an insert. more of buckets with a console vs a bench with an armrest.

Re: Orson the 49 GMC ~ Chris C.

That’s exactly the reason it was chosen, that and the width. These trucks will fit a 55” seat, this one’s 53”
