Re: Scott's hotrods shop truck
I like the fact that the rain gutter is gone! The body line on the roof is just *****in. If I remember right this thing is getting a 2 or 3 inch chop Right Justin? When are we going to start seeing pictures of the rear suspension? Are you still planning on taking the truck to the Goodguys show in Texas.

Re: Scott's hotrods shop truck
Yea but your thinking about the trailer now aren't you.....nice motor with an OD trans and set of 3:73 gears and you'll have one of the badest Haulers around to pull a 24' mod V trailer...it will look Killer running the east coast going from show to show with few front ends and some of your other goodies in it......Hmmmmm????????
How high do you figure the roof line will be?? (at ride) Last edited by Hottrucks; 07-16-2010 at 07:59 PM. |

Re: Scott's hotrods shop truck
I am sure you guys know how to chop this sub, but I thought I would post this link for you anyway; I always like to see what others have done, it helps in the planning process.
an old member here a few years back chopped this 65 panel, and had a bunch of photos in this link: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/738021 if the photos don't come right up, click on "65 panel"

Re: Scott's hotrods shop truck
Correct, it is his truck. Couple that with the fact that he is a professional and has proven his ability to perform this mod successfully I say sit back and enjoy the show...

Re: Scott's hotrods shop truck
sometimes it is healthy to have criticism as it promotes dialoque; as long as people can go about it civilly. I did make a comment here a week ago and the reply was that is why they make both vanilla and chocolate ice cream. not everyone has to agree with everyone as there are different viewpoints. I saw a chopped 64-66 go past on thurs afternoon and I thought that it looked hideous, but it seems someone loved it as he was taking it to a show

Re: Scott's hotrods shop truck
opinions are what discussion boards are made of. If we all agreed it would be a boring world. The issue is not criticism as it is negativity. I am not just referring to this post or these comments.
Folks seem to think its ok to talk trash and it simply is not. To say hey I wouldn't do it to mine, but so be it, is one thing. To say its his and he can ruin it, is pretty assy (no offense intended) and has nothing positive to contribute to the conversation. |

I've seen Justin's work up close. It's incredible.
For anybody who's unsure how the chop is going to turn out, just sit back and enjoy the show. You'll be blown away. |
