Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

No, they're 10" foam. I didn't want to worry about keeping them aired up.

Where did you get them? I want to build a slammed wagon as a trailer for my bicycle but I don't know what I want to use for wheels. I love the look of standard wagon wheels but they are too noisy at any kind of speed.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

Man, that sounds awesome. I got mine at Harbor Freight. They had a huge selection at really good prices. Northern Tool also has a big selection but Harbor Freight is closer to me.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

Saw another trike in the thread so I'll post mine. Built it from a 20" mountain bike a couple summers ago. The PVC sleeves lets the back end slide, so it's like a big wheel for grown ups.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

Nothing custom about it, but my dad picked up this wagon for our daughter. (his first grandkid). It matches our last name.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

Those are my exact same wheels, aren't they?

The one thing I didn't anticipate with this project is that my son is ALWAYS throwing a fit to go outside and play with the wagon, and after I finally let him, when I tell him it's to to come back in this is what happens:

Yep, they're the same wheels. Thats why I was wondering where you got them from.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

This is a great thread. Here is one I built. Although it is not shown, we have a wooden handle from an old reel mower that we bolt to the back of the car so we can use it as a stroller.

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

Picked up these two today. They pull like a wagon...no pedals. Heavy little suckers. Don't know what I have in store for them but I showed a picture to my two year old son last night and he said he needs to ride in them!

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

The Jeep guys would go crazy over those! Can you tell if they are home made or mass produced?

Re: The Wagon and Pedal Car thread.

First off, diggin yours up above! Post 198 is my sons car at age 1.
I haven't looked real close at them because it is freezing outside but they almost have a homemade look to them. Heavier built then the other car we have. I'll get a better look when I get home from work tonight.
