royo it started out when i got it under flat black primer. i had mostof it blasted thin epoxy green and gray primed . now i am useing my old dark maroon for like a base coat. and thin i will go back over all of the truck with a lighter/reder maroon & hopefully some white racing stripes on the hood,tailgate,& roll pan. if thing work out. everybody that come by acts like they want to buy it.i have around $8500.00 tighted up in it at this point. but if someone comes and lays down more ben franklins than i can turn down it mite find a new home before i get it done.

i found me a set of nice used center line wheels 15 by 8 . they have new tires alway round 215/70/15 on ft. and 245/60/15 on back. they are bf goodrich tires.

i have decided to put it back together and drive it on perty days till weather gets warmer again. i put the grille and ft. bumper on today. and also my new mirrors so i can see whats behind me.here are a few pic.s.

ok a little story time. this pic. is me and my 3 year old grandson . we are wet sanding my bed and spending time together. i am lucky he lives nearby and we see each other about everyday. he as at the stage where me calls him self my. he calls me everydayand ask me what i am doing and if i say i am working on the hot rod[my old truck] he says papa come get my. my will help you. if i have a screw driver in my hand he has to have 1. same thing with wrech ,hammer or what ever. he makes me a little shakie when he has a hammer in his hands. i am getting a grandbaby girl for christmas. and if the good lord lets me keep some of my health she will be helping papa take trucks apart also in no time. well thats enough for now.

va72c10 i may finsh the pass. side door . i have a gal of redish maroon i am going to paint the whole thing with again later depending on the weather.
started putting my roll pan on last nite but got rained out. i have a tailgate i am going to stick on it for now .
i would like to find a nicer tailgate & a hurst pistol grip shifter knob for it.also a soft bed cover. that is about all i like on having all my parts.
