Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
I was showing this to my brother, and since you guys were concerned about making the box fit better with the cab, he suggested removing the rubber cab mounts and using steel washers, and making the cab and the box a unibody like Ford did, or similar to an
Elcamino, by bridging the gap between the box and cab with sheet steel. |

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I can not believe my eyes at all, lthe truck looks amazing, it is really coming along nicely, the gaps on the door are awesome, the box edge turned out great!!!!!!!!!! The two of you must be proud of how that is coming along, it looks great!!! As for the wiring, I would almost say we should talk to Tony up here. he would be the best around if we needed anything. keep it coming along. I guess it is getting close to the time where money has to be spent on some things. Such as the A/C, rad, condensor, wiring, bed floor interior and paint. Time to start saving money Tyler.

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
Tyler is in the city working now,so time for dad to do a little work on his truck. I finished left rear fleetside, then after talking to James and Tyler decided we needed a lot of help with the wiring. We got in touch with a friend of James's(lucky he has alot of them) I drove in to the city to talk with Tony was blown away by all the information and stuff this man has. I am sure he will do an excellant job, also may have found a few more things that we will need like AC/heater rad fan. James also has manage to find a radiator and a set of headers,so things are moving along. The next day I measured the drive shaft,so I can take somewhere to get cut down. We had a small break in the weather -14 celcius so I did a litlle sandblasting here are a few pictures

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project
I decided to work on a few things that were not sheet metal for a few days. I have got power steering hoses made, found U-joint for drive shaftand had drive shaft shortened. I then shortened fuel pump from 13 inches deep to 10 inches deep, here are some pictures.

I am sad to say that another winter has gone by and I have to put Tyler's truck away. I seem to have time to work on it in the summer. Someone has been calling me a slacker so here are a few more pictures
