WillyP - Thanks man, but not nearly as cool as that bird you fly in! Thanks for serving our nation to protect and defend our freedom. God Bless you!

Now, about the color - It is a Daimler Chrysler color called Dark Slate Grey Metallic from about 5 years ago. You'll see it on many vehicles including Ram 1500, Crossfire and even PT Cruiser.
Most guys wouldn't share their paint code but I will - because this is the best darn forum I've found.....

More close up shots showing the high metal content in the paint. All photos taken by a professional photographer

Texas56 -
I am digging your collection. Especially the 2 tone pro touring machine and the sweet wagon rolling to the surf. That's a 55 right? My son and I were looking one at a local toys for tots event before Christmas. It was neptune green with a white roof.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

My current garage "projects"...

'68 Charger R/T

"No Quarter"...an early 60's drag/show inspired '27 T

And a '63 Riviera that'll be a mid-late '60's Mild Custom....

As well as finishing up my wife's car...want different wheels, maybe put gloss paint on 'er...or lace the entire sides to match the top..

I need to finish this one as it has been a slow build in the last 9 years.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

i've had this 62 unibody for a couple of years and in the process of a frame up build. it's a short wide custom cab with wrap-around back glass. the engine is a 65 mustang GT k-motor and its hooked to a later model column shifted 3-speed. i always like bringing an older project that's been hibernating back into the shop. it's like starting a new one all over again. currently we have 5 other projects either sleeping or just taking a short nap. 67 vw hotrod, 39 ford deluxe coupe, 64 vette roadster and a couple of 65 chevy trucks. staying busy...

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

That's a really interesting car. I'm assuming it's a Canadian Pontiac? It appears to have a Chevy body, fenders, bumpers, and even the wheels (and assuming the suspension) - but with a special Pontiac trim on the hood, body, and lower rear window, along with a Pontiac grille and special splash pan. I've never seen anything like this before. It appears to have a flat head Pontiac engine. I'm curious if it has a Chevy or Pontiac rear end and transmission. The body looks cherry. I had several 54 Chevys long ago, loved the design and body integrity.
