Looking great! I was also curious about the floor too. Seems it wouls be less work to do one piece in each hole rather than strips cut and welded together. Or is that what you had in stock to get it done? That's lots of work for sure. Keep it up, it looks good.

Nate are you commenting on my years of experience?? lol. I learned this from my mentor, Yosh, at Electromotive. I made the floor from 22 ga. mostly, with a few slats of 18 ga. mixed in. The slats start 5" wide, then I bend a 5/8" flange at 90* down the edge. This makes the floor really strong and light. The edges under the floor are set at 50*, the ridges help to pull air out from under the car. See Nate, if you were older, you may have seen this in and older GTP car.

Huh, that's interesting. I always fiured smooth was better. I guess I assumed that from seeing the bottom sides of Nacar cars. But I suppse that's different since you aren't always going left.

That's what I thought it would look like underneath... but wasn't quite sure the reason behind it.... had no clue on the 50* angle flange. Makes perfect sense.

I might be a young whipper-snapper, but experienced enough to know to always ask a question when I don't know the answer!

I am aldo curious, is this scaled down version of the C10 an attempt to take you back to your more youthful days of the mid 80's and early 90's when the mini-trucks were "in"?

Rob, Outstanding build! I am encouraged to get back to working on my truck but know it is not going to be half as sweet. Quick question about your pedals, can you unbolt the clutch pedal? I want to run the same ones but am going to at least start out with an auto and change to a stick later. Thanx

Just took the time to read this whole thing and get caught up on your newest project. I think that yellow would be the best color with a white top.

I really liked your JT project and am doing some of the same stuff on my son's 82 we are building. Are you going to bring JT to the Texas GG's in March?

Cool picts. Back in the day, when my buddies were into mini trucks and Cal bugs, I was stuck on old chevy's. I build one 'sort of' mini truck, a '55 chevy, 4" section, no top, 3" chopped winshield, and 5' bed. It sat on a cut down GM metric Monte Carlo chassis, with a T-type turbo v-6/auto, on 17" corvette wheels. (they were HUGE). Now I have to see if i can find an old pict of that one.

NP, yes, you can pull the clutch pedal out of the wilwood mount, I'm setting up a Challenger the same way.

Aggie, hope to be in Ft. Worth in the spring. Trying to talk Marcell into driving the JT out for a StreetTrucks road trip.

Just curious.....how did you determine dimensions on the headers? Like primary length to each Y? I thought long and hard about doing tri-Y's for my truck, but I couldn't find any good information on how to determine primary/secondary pipe length and secondary/collector pipe diameter.......
