Great lookin truck. Did you leave the stock crossmember in or did you put in a dropmember?

Re: My First
Was in Trenton yesterday. Saw a blue, 67-68 fleetside with wide racing stripes. Was that you? Was with my mom, and she don't like noisy stuff( her words ) so I couldn't try and catchup to BS.

Re: My First
Just read thru. VERY VERY nice. Exactly the kind of truck to tempt even the most stable individual into wanting one.

Drop spindles with Porterbuilt Control arms. Sits very nice but with the stock crossmember the control arm pockets hang dangerously low and so does the sway bar. If I am not paying attention to the contour in the road it gets to rubbn quick..... The arms are a saving grace right now because they are about 1/2" lower than my 7qt oil pan at ride height.

Re: My First
I love the contrast of the pinstriping and the interior. A punch of unexpected color. Tastefully done.

Re: My First
I remember seeing the picture of all your kids sitting in the cab a few years back, they'll have some great memories of this for sure.Glad to see you got it all done, and I must say it turned out to be one of my favorites.

Re: My First
Just read through the whole build. Funny reading comments from some and the realizing the time period and that their builds are done.
What did you eventually run for suspension? I am loving the stance! |

I am running porterbuilt control arms with drop spindles with complete ridetech Pro E3. The rear is Porterbuilt trailing arms, rear cross member with panhard bar. Thanks for looking and I appreciate the positive feedback! Thanks!
