Getting a furnace installed in the garage next week, already tired of the crappy little heater I'm using, after about an hour, the air quality is pretty bad.

Currently up at the other shop assembling my 70 swb 4x4 that is sold now, in a lot of ways it's bites to sell it, it's a really nice truck but on the other hand it consolidates the projects and adds funds to build the blazer.

Wow. I go on vacation for a week and you went nuts with the paint. Better choice on the gray. I think the orange would have been too much with the orange body. Glad to see you're makin progress.

See whatcha get for leavin'?

When I went out and looked at my other blazer and saw how much frame you actually see, I made the decision right on the spot to go gray.
Even gray will be bright under there, almost chickened out and went back to black.

Consolidating all the swb parts and making sure it's 100% is this weeks focus but next week after the heat gets installed, it's all blazer time.

It's scheduled for this morning. (11th)

Did a quickie insulate & rock job where the furnace will be installed, just picked up two 4x8 sheets of rock & some battens and got em put up in the corner so I won't need to do it later.

Between work, the build & the holidays I'll most likely just burn extra 'pane to keep the heat going, no extra time to finish the insulation/drywall any time soon.

...and you? Did you find the missing barb?

No, but I know it's here somewhere, so thats a start. I'd like to find one in SS or alum. 5/8 barb X 1/2"NPT is a wierd size

Lookin' mean! I beleive once I sort out my hobbies (and thin the heard a bunch!) I will one day have another 4X, they just look too coll sitting in that stance, so I may end up with a 2wd and a 4X4?! So I can have it both ways, high and Low!

Ahhh, I see the engine is outta' the basement, looks sweet, I remember when you bought them VC's, the guy said the need polishing. They look pretty shiny from here. Wished ya wooda' pulled back a little more so I could see the injection unit...Oh well, I'll have to wait to see it in person

Cross over set up, I had.
Hydraulic assist, I had.
(both sets I bought used over the last couple years waiting for this build)

So today, when I tore into the D60 and saw BOTH bushings cracked in half I knew they would need to be rebuilt, then I remembered reading about a company that made arms the delete the spring...so I went back to the page I had put into favorites months ago to check em out.

The pic is of a high steer kit, includes both arms, studs, nuts & new bushings, all of which I need anyway.
So I figured since I already had the cross over, why not do both arms and get high steer too.

Whew...that was a lot of typing.

Also got into the firewall & dash pulling parts/pieces off.
Pulled the old junk column too.
