We are running out of funds as I write this, so the front end will have to wait. Its nice and tight right now so......... And we are going to wait on the A/C also.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration

We also discovered as we re-built this motor/truck that the previous owners really didn't know what they were doing... The motor was worn out..wiring is totally hacked up under the hood.. not all that great in the cab....probably the most rot I have ever repaired on one vehicle....but.... time spent with my son Jon.... PRICELESS !!!!!!!!!

I completely understand that $$$ thing....just thought since you were there and it's easily accessible now is the time...especially since the bj, tie rods, a-arm shafts, etc are 40 years old

Also, I know that Jon probably has you up for Dad of the century I know I appreciated my brother and Dad's help....even have employed them to help me with my Mom's 66 Mustang project

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration

We will be back at it this weekend for sure. The doghouse goes back on and the wiring needs to get handled under the hood...... along with who knows what else.. I find something new to do every time we work on it..

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration

Get well soon Steve...this is an excellent opportunity for you to take a seat and turn Jon over to wrenching, sweating, and busting knuckles while you mentor from the sidelines
I'll be out of pocket over the next week, so I expect it to be done when I come back
