I also had to fix the upper fender where it meets the cowel.

And then there is the repair where I rounded off the door at the cowel.
The last pic shows what I am contemplating doing to the top rear of the door. This is what happens when you have to much time on your hands and stare at things.

Re: My 57 Pro Street

I say go for it Kim on the upper door corners. It's mods like those that make it "yours". Nice and subtle that only an individual who knows anything about this vintage year would recognize. Good Job.

I'm going to do it. It's just a matter of getting through the first cut and then there's no turning back.

Its a 54 foad. Belongs to my brother. He doesn't have the space at his place so I'm giving him a hand with it.

Re: My 57 Pro Street

I say go for the curve up top and you can fix the door spacing while you do that. Its the little things that make it look awesome.

I was given a new set of Dolphin gauges minus the tach. I'm looking for a nice billet bezel to install them in and I will run a Sun tach.

I like it, it seems like it could have come off the production floor that way.

Here you go Kim, I took this pic at a Brothers Truck Show about 4 years ago. I have a folder on my computer for all the mods I like.

Re: My 57 Pro Street

Well I bit the bullet and rounded off the rear of the door at the top.
I had to make a template because of the shape of the door. A little cutting and bending and I had something to use so I could make sure both doors matched. I was able to use the outer piece to make the filler pieces for the cab.

Re: My 57 Pro Street

A little more cutting, bending and welding and it starts to come together.

Thanks Mike.
I used 16 gauge. I find it a lot easier to work with than anything thinner.
