Yeah man I hate to hear that about your job. Hell, I have been laid up all week with the flu! Still not as bad as losing my job. If we can help you out let us know.

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

I wish you did too. Haha. It's an awesome completely built frame that someone wouldn't have to do a thing to. If it doesn't sell I may clean it up and build another truck This one has been a lot of fun.

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Alright guys.... HERE IT IS!!!

Before you click on the link I want you to know that I have given you guys full access to Zoom in and out and pan around to look around. This mean... if 5 guys log on, all 5 of them can control the camera. So I hope that is not going to be a headache for yall. If it is I can disable it. I will have this up all day today and other days while I am working on my truck. There wont be much happening til around 2-3:00. Anyway.... here it is guys... hope you enjoy it. (if I feel like it is being abused I will have to take it down)

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

It may ask you to install a driver. It's a Cisco driver so its safe. Let me know if you get that. I tested it at work thru internet explorer and it worked fine but it required me to install that dll file.

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Macs are not my specialty... Are you copying and pasting the user/pass? Try typing it in or try a lower case c

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Getting snowed in over here, thought I'd check out the streaming. IBM compatible computer (Windows machine/laptop), looks like the VLC Multimedia plugin for Firefox crashed (video never displayed). Works with IE 8 after installing the .dll

Could be incompatible with Macintosh computers, or try running IE on the Mac.

I'm sure this will be pretty boring for you guys. Example... Tank threads are jacked up for the AN fitting so. We are waiting on a tap set to rethread it.

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Just checked back in to the video feed, man you guys got a lot done! I see you have a little man helping there too. looks like you got the daily driver body off the frame and the old frame out of the way. thanks for posting the video feed that is super cool to be able to see other people work. And I don't believe I ever congratulated you on the new one so congrats! mine is about to turn 2, they are something else. never though i'd love something that much!

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Yea... you missed a LOT. We got the fuel lines run in the back up to the fuel return, got the motor apart cleaned up and heads off ready for the new ones and roller rockers, and got the frame rolled around to the back yard. now everyone has left me to clean up except my 11 year old neighbor who is the best helper I could ask for. He spends more time over here helping me with my truck than he does at home.

I'll bet moving that cab WAS tough...considering it has everything in/on it but the doors!

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Yes it was heavy! This is my first time doing all this so its a learning curve and I an starting a collection of the tools I actually need. One thing I wish I had was a lift for the cab and a cab stand or something I could put the cab on to work on it. Right now its sitting on 4 tires. I really don't want to scratch or dent it so I was pretty nerve racked then the kids (18 yo) started to scream..NEED BREAK GONNA DROP IT.
