Their products are so sick.. I didnt say a word unpacking all my parts, just sat there cutting boxes, drinking beer completely jaw dropped

Worked on the frame and mocked up trailing arm xmember. Gutted my rear brake assembly. Need to order the cylinders then put the new stuff in.

When things get slow I try to make at least one trip out to the shop. Amazing how well that motivates me.

Yeah once I tore the truck down to nothing it's been real slow. This year has been a bit different than the rest, traveling with my son in select baseball, now coaching pee wee football, little home improvements then were expecting our New baby boy here any day now. She was suppose to be due in November 14. Them "honey dues" whooping my @$$ right now too. But not to worry guys i will get on it little by little.

Honestly not sure about the width, I wanted to run big wheels at first and still do but have the same question in my head. I know slammed66 is running eagle 225 20's. If you find out please let me know cause im curious as well.

If you don't mind tubbing the box and narrowing or finding a narrowed diff. You can run whatever you want. I have a 60" wide diff and I'm running 20x10's
Unfortunately they wanna hang out where the box side is.

I trimmed it out , I won't need a very wide tub roughly 4".

When I had a 72 5 lug diff. I briefly had 20x8 eagles with 255/35/20's under it.
I can't remember back spacing unfortunately , they fit without cutting but it was snug..

And keep in mind your od of tire is limited to around 28" if you still wanna layout.

Fleetside makes life easy. But I like the stepside so I made it work.

Back to the goodness at hand. The frame looks killer!!! Keep it up !!!

Worked(still working) on the truck today. I put the head gaskets on. Now I need to order some new lifters because I mixed up the old ones

painted my dropmember and I'm currently working on the other pieces. Also painted my rear drums and painted my intake manifold. No more Chevy orange on my block! More pics later on today.

Its amazing how much those wheels and G-78s changed the look of your truck. Looks freakin awesome.

Heres my old 51 I switched from the streetrod look with big n little ralleys to narrow smoothies and G-78s
