Re: S10 Frame Swap w/ AD and LS motor

I ended up using the brass radiator I had from when my truck ran the original straight 6 (I had bought the radiator new at one point around 12 years ago). I had to remove and relocate the side mounts on the radiator so that I could push it up into the core support to clear on the bottom. That fan is from a Lincoln Mark 8. As I stated back in July, this truck drove through the California Central Valley in 104* weather up the Grapevine and did not overheat.

Great build!
I love that you drove up to the Bay Area with no problems! I think my next one will have an LS.

I'm curious to reweigh my truck. I weighed mine for registration without having all the pieces installed and was right at 2900 lbs.

Great build, can you let me know what you did for the power steering feed line? Where you able to use a stock one or did you get one custom made?

Thanks,

I ended up having a line made. There is a company local here that sells hoses, and makes, brake, ac, power steering etc. lines.

Not sure what setup you are using or asking about, but if you check out Greystone systems on amazon and ebay or their site, they offer a ton of PWR steering hoses, braided. I got one for my LS conversion to mustang rack for like 25 bucks I think. Ordered a conversion fitting from GETFAST1 or a slew of others online. Local places can make the hose, but sometimes they won't have AN fittings like I needed.
