Thanks. It's a slow ride but a ride none the less. Things may change for the powerplant here soon. I've got more research to do

The low boys look good. They should set the truck off real good. Nice job on the tubs also. Keep it up. George

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

Been so busy I haven't had much time for anything but I did move the engine back a few inches. It's pretty tight against the fire wall now and opened up some options for some future plans. I also ordered and received a porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember but haven't got around to installing it yet. I took the truck to the end of the street and back and under part throttle it wanted to get a little sideways. I don't think the neighbors enjoy the lack of exhaust as much as I do though

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

How tight is the engine to the fire wall? Do you still have room for the distributor to be pulled out if you need to in the future. I put mine in the rear holes and I couldn't pull the distributor. Just thinking that all.

Thanks. I should have tires for the front soon and then I'll get everything finished up once I'm back home again.

I just LOVE this truck, it is understated with a monster engine lurking underneath, ready to chew up rice and spit it out!

Thanks guys. We got the porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember in yesterday and I'm at the exhaust shop now. Hopefully I'll be cruising around this afternoon

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

Exhaust is now done and the truck is back at the shop for a alignment. I'll need to adjust the pinion angle by 2-3 degrees to get it dialed in where I want it.

There was a 70 gmc with a 73 and later stepside bed on it sitting up there but I didn't get any pics. When it left this was dropped off

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

I'll be home most of the day tomorrow. It drove fine from silsbee back home but had a little noise from the front end. I think the dust cover is rubbing slightly since I had to tweak it a little with the new spindles. Get to work on the Chevelle. I'd love to see it
