Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
Just running across this thread. I, too, have a shortbed gmc and am totally digging your plans. Love the racelines too.

And, thank you too! I think I have gathered all of the appropriate pieces to finally get started on this thing, I'm just waiting to get my garage cleaned out enough to have some work room...or finish the new big home shop |

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
I haven't done anything to it, but I still have him. I drove it today for the first time in about a year and it just makes me smile ear to ear. I did decide that I hated all the wind noise and glass rattles so I ordered all new door seals and weatherstripping from GMCPaul. As soon as that stuff gets here, I'll throw them on and rebuild an extra set of vent windows that I have stowed in the garage. My current passenger side vent window lower pivot bolt is broken so it's beyond time to address that...

Old Booger is coming right along Ed. The color combo in the rendering is awesome. I like it! Keep up the good work.

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
Sold Booger today. . Hurt my heart, but the fella that bought it is new to the custom world and I think I'll be allowed to help him continue the work on the truck. Hopefully he will finish what I never did.

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
Hurts when you have to let 'em go but at least you'll still get to see it and work on it.
