Re: The Old Duffer
Got a couple shots when we rolled it outside for the first time in many months. The ass end will be dropped a few more inches. but overall I am loving the stance.

Got the tailgate on and removed the chains and added some trick latches.

Re: The Old Duffer
Checkout the Kindig-it door handles. I love these things. Now it's a continuous uninterrupted line from one end of the truck to the other.

Re: The Old Duffer
Hey I'm curious....the front fenders, they appear to be aftermarket replacements, yes??
If so, who'd you buy them from and how well did they fit?? I'm thinking I'm gonna try some from AMD rather do the patch panel routine on my '62 SWB. |

Re: The Old Duffer
Yeah man they are LMC and I'm not exaggerating they fit better than the original panels. Gaps are near perfect.

Think I found my mirrors. Brushed aluminum is a part of the theme.

Heat extractors are cut in now. I love this mod. Breaks up that huge hood and pulls heat out from the engine bay and sucks air through the radiator. Should keep it cool at track days.

Re: The Old Duffer
Saw your recent post on Facebook & decided to come check out the build thread. I haven't been checking in as much since mine has been on the back burner for over 4 years now, so I'm behind on so many builds. Just took time to read your whole build thus far, & it's crazy how much the truck has evolved in such a short time. I'm a bit sentimental, so it's always cool to see automobiles with family history. Not sure I'd have the courage to take grandpa's truck to the level you have, but I like where you're headed with the project. Everything you've done in the various stages looks like really clean work. I'd like to get some more info from you about the different folks working on the truck. We plan to live in the area long-term, & I like to have trustworthy resources when it comes to my vehicles. Trying to get geared up to get my '66 back going again now that we've relocated. Would love to meet you & any other 60-66 C-10 guys in the area sometime.
