Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
i seen one a couple weeks ago. was a tow truck, had a long box that the box extended in the front prolly 2 or 3 feet more. wheels were under the fenders with no flares or anything. looked sweet. really long, but regular cab. prolly would have been a crew back long box wheel base, but with an extra long box and regular cab

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Anybody else notice the 2 and 3 doors are facing the wrong way? I would drive it though.. not daily, but would make a hell of a limo.

sorry, i wish i knew. mine is a regular 2 ton, frame and all. i know the cabs are the same as a standard p/up, but the firewall i think is different, and of course all the front end sheet metal, etc. the cab floor may be a bit flatter too (low hump), but i don't think that would matter much, as there's acres of room under these things. i know it can be done, and here's a pic i found online of a suburban with a topkick (i think) running gear & front end grafted onto it: Last edited by cabinmaster; 07-10-2009 at 07:41 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
i use to know an old guy that like to play around with the c60's and he said about the only part interchangeable was the doors he told me that the hood was wider at the cowl then that of the pickups
take it for what its worth he was in his late 70's at that time and a little forgetful

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
I want a crew cab. Really want a 2wd dually. If I could find one to take the place of my SWB I would in a heartbeat.
