Re: My Daughters First Truck

Looks really good! Wish I was working on mine today instead of doing "real work at my job" haha! Most days I wish I could win the lotto and build cars every day "like Dino" instead of my job. I know if I tried to do it to make a living I would starve... Lol I'm too slow and too anal about everything! Lol

Re: My Daughters First Truck

Not to take away from Darrah's thread but we couldn't come to parting out that little fleetside we found so we sold it at the Super Chevy Show a couple weeks back and Daddy got him some new wheels and rubber for the Buick. Alan I hope you like as much as I do. still waiting on the lug nuts but could'nt wait to see them on the 64.

Love the truck your daughter and you are restoring! I have one exactly like it! Minus the color and the spare tire. Cool to see! Can't wait to see what you are gonna do with the motor.

Finally got the outer rocker in on the passenger side and ready for the body man.

Also a picture for Alan of the Buick at a old Burlap Manufacture Building in Memphis.

T.J.
Your the reason for the post
Darrah's good busy with school. She decided to go with the automatic. We got her a good one. And found a STOCK AUTOMATIC column.

Re: My Daughters First Truck

I miss the updates to this build too.... Your father/daughter team was fun to watch!
Good job on that rocker panel, but surprised you didnt fix the ding that is low and aft of the door there while you were at it.

You could probably tap most that out from the inside.....
