Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Ok I just received my champion radiator and shroud and electric fan. I got no instructions on how to put it all together. Any pics or directions I can follow?

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Do I just use self tapping screws to screw the shroud to rad? And as far as fan mounting kinda confused, do I put the plastic pices that slide into the outside of fan then drill holes where they line up then use the long plastic strips to go threw rad and shroud then cap off on the fan?

I am about to buy one like Coulter got, but I want to make sure I am not making a huge mistake. I am looking at this: KMJ Performance 19 X 26" Universal fit Race Pro Aluminum Radiator. This is a GM style with 1 1/2" top filler neck and 1 3/4" bottom filler neck. This is a 2 row radiator with 1" Dual tubes. Tanks are 3" wide. Radiator has no Epoxy and is 100% Tig Welded. Thanks man

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
I just have the rad sitten there I got to order two new rubbers for the top mount, and I guess I will need to bend the bracket a little becuase I tried with old rubbers and it was like it wouldnt go all the way down on it. Then I'll screw the fan and shroud on.
Also looking to get one of those smooth stainless canisters for the overflow. Also hereto get rad hoses, going with the braided steel ones I think Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Someone just mounted one of those trans coolers to the outside frame rail of their build, rear of the transmission.
Wish I could remember off hand who it was, but it was just this past week.

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
When you start to tackle the rust you will have to cut the bottom of the door pillar off because the inner rocker is spot welded to the cab support! And I you have any rust where the wire channel runs between floor and rocker then buy the extended floor pans. Rigs looking good btw!!!
