Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

Well for me since im doing a disk brake swap I need new brake lines, and a 5 lug rear, 5 lug wheels, a torque converter for my trans, wiring, drive shaft, complete front end rebuild, mc and booster, also fuel lines and thats just bare minimum if I dont do anything with the body work or the interior.

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

Wow Rick I thought I still needed alot but dang I forgot who gave me this suggestion but they told me to write everything down I needed and have on a whiteboard and when I got a part I needed move it over to the other list along with a calender for that month so you can break the big project down into smaller ones like priming the truck break it up to this week sand down the cab next week prime it the go to the bed it helped me out but since I dont have a whiteboard I just have a sheet of paper thumbtacked above my desk to remind me what I still need to do. It helps alot when keeping track of parts especially if you're not 100% sure if you have it.

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

You have all of the right parts? (picured)

Are they in the correct order?

I just wanna make sure your not doing something wrong (like myself) if your missing pieces Ive got a few you can have (if you need em).

Make sure your horn works (hotwire to horn maybe?) Then make sure the relay is hooked up. Then try to take a screwdriver and 'short out' under the steering wheel (the horn should start to honk)
