Re: drag truck update with pics
Here is the link for the LED lights. I saw them when Stacey David did a 67 - 72 truck and put these in. They are REALLY bright. Everyone knows how dim the stock ones are. I remember following my dad one night when he was in our 73 farm truck. The tractor blew a fuse and had no headlights. I had a hard time seeing them!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
Sorry I haven't been here in a while we have been thrashing on the drag truck! We made it to the track Friday night and the first 2 passes were not good it was a little weak and spun quite a bit we checked the timing and it only had 30 degrees of timing in it! We adjusted the timing and it was much stronger! My best pass on 5 yr old slicks and a slick track was a 6.82 1/8 mile @ 103 mph! I went back on Saturday night after Djing and was ready to make a good pass on a fresh set of tires and a better track and broke the pump in the tranny! Its fixed now and I will bracket race it for 10,000 Saturday and Sunday! Wish me luck!
P.S. Special thanks to everyone that has helped Emory Pierponte, James Shipman, DeeDee, Wayne Nobles, 1ton K5, Scooter, Station Wagon, Kyle, Johnny Ray, Mitch Perkins, Hugh Meeks, Clarence Woodham and thanks to the wife and kids for not killing me for neglecting them lately!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
Jim I'm swapping in a 9inch convertor so I can spray it soon! I don't think my 8 inch can take the pressure! I even hooked up the exhaust last week it sounds odd when you are used to open headers! It has 3 inch in and out flowmasters on it!

Coming up ASAP but Tom said it doesn't do the big wheel stands anymore! I only got one decent pass friday night and none Saturday night! It had ragged tires and the track was slick friday night so we'll get some pics this Saturday!
