I have not heard a word from them, so I guess that it will be tomorrow before I know something for certain. We were at the Dayton Dragons (Minor League) game tonight and I half expected to see a phone message on the recorder. But there was nothing. Thanks a bunch for the help, guys!! Stay tuned...

ROTFL...! That was pretty good, huh? Too bad that it wasn't a clever thing to say and that it just popped into my head. 'Clever' isn't my strong point!!

Interesting! I had not noticed that they changed the page. I last checked it at 5PM before we headed out to the ballgame. I have a screenshot from earlier today.

I haven't heard from them officially, but we did have the highest number of votes. Apparently they are validating votes, etc.
I should know something today!

I dont' see why your votes would come into question. To me its no different then if the guy with the mustang is a senior in high school and gets the whole school to vote for him. I think you've got this wraped up.
Good luck. Man this site is cool.

I think what he means is that they are actually calling the phone numbers provided by the entrant (spelling, or if it's even a word ), and then calling them valid. I will need to check our email when I get home tonight to make sure I reply if they sent an email confirmation.

What a deal! You might consider donating all the old stuff they rip from your ride to the folks here on the board that are in need. Congrats man. We wanna see pics. You should go ahead and start a thread in projects and builds with lots of current condition pics.

Re: Help me Rock My Ride and possibly win $500 for your truck...
Congrats!! If I may add something. I don't know what they plan on doing with it, but if it were me.... I would have them fix the body correctly with good metal, and have them paint it. That may very well eat up most of the 10 grand. Even if your burb doesn't look "pimped out" when they are done, the hardest and most expensive part is over. The interior and wheels/ engine can be done over time with smaller amounts of money. Kick ass stereos and lambo doors and nice wheels won't be worth anything on a ride if the package doesn't look good. And structurally the burb may not be able to take crazy body mods (lambo doors) if the rockers and other structural components aren't up to par. This is just my opinion. Congrats again!! I am thrilled that you won!!
