yea but i offered my truck up instead of being asked. she is a good friend so it made her and her man happy that all that matters. can't wait till next car show season. getting cold here and she is in hibernation till next spring.

well i decided to strech the wheel base to fix a 6 foot box on it. no going back now.

well i'm going away for work for 6 to 8 weeks so i will have to finish this when i get back. next will be to find a decent box for the truck. well one that i can afford.

well home finally. the last two weeks have been hell. my mother in law is in the hospital. my daughter was life flighted to the hospital of sat. my daily driver the trans went in it while towing my camper home from work. then I had to have the camper towed home as the truck was drivable with out the camper. I was on the way to the hospital the camper was on it's way to my uncles and it caught fire and is totaled. insurance said it was not covered under my policy. not a happy camper. ha ha. but my daughter is home and doing great. my mother in law should be getting out of the hospital soon she is doing better too. well at least things are getting better.

54 jimmy, when it rains it pours. Glad your daughter and mother in law are doing better. Some times you got to wonder why you are handed all that stuff at one time. Hang in there it will get better. It was like that for me about 1 1/2 ago. If it could go wrong it did.

I know. thank you. I just laugh about the truck and camper cause they are not worth crying or getting mad about. the most important thing is home and back to normal.

well my daughter went back to school today. while she was at school my son and I went to work on getting the rear put back together. here are the pics. I moved everything back 8 inches to correct the wheel base. lots of rivet cutting and then drilling new holes.

got a little more work done on my truck tonight. getting closer. rear is going up my uncles tomorrow to get it's new leaf spring perches. also got the rear brake line extended.

got the rear back in today brake line hooked up. need to make new lower shock mounts. make new sway bar mounts. and get e brake cables hooked up. oh and longer drive shaft. stance is better and correct wheel base.

well she is back on all fours. done except for finding a drive shaft the right length.

well I rolled her outside to see the new stance and wheel base length. also painted the roof white from the belt line up. I needed to break up the black. next is the grill and front bumper.

well got the frame finished. had to add 6 inches to it. she is ready for a bed now. also been working on a wagon for my kids.

last night we got the bed wood on the truck last night. all that is left is to finish up the tail board,light,and plate. also need to get the wagon. hopefully today that will happen. oh got to paint the front bumper and grill white an reinstall them.

well I got the truck done today and the wagon for the kids. was a great day with my little guy. he was helping me and so excited to have his wagon done for the car shows. also got a cool night shot with the neons on under the truck.

well I picked up a vintage greyhound wagon for my little guy. we are going with the patina look on this one. my daughter wagon is a newer one and she wants hers purple. I am going to make these low rider wagons for them. well the are going to have a nice rake to them. big tires in the back small in the front.

my boy likes that wagon. well with my truck finished. I have decided to sell it to fund a family project or buy myself a newer truck. have not decided yet. hope my truck sells. I have a few nibbles on it locally and some intrest on the net, but we will see.

here is my boys wagon in mock up. I going to blow it apart and clear everything. I keeping the natural patina. used all the original wagon parts with a few added on. just modified a little. I like the rake is has. so does my little guy.

had a great night at the local car cruise last night. kids loved the wagon. so did everyone else. had 4 offers to buy it. I didn't sell it though, I couldn't. it's my boys. I think $350.00 was a low ball offer for the time I spent with my boy building this great rod wagon.

well I haven't sold the truck yet. I have been working on my daughters wagon. she is happy it is done. got a cool shot of the wagons together.
