1st choice satin black, 2nd red. Tan would be to 'street rodder-ish' for a red, 60's truck IMO.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

My 68 has had the same wheels for 20 years-- first picture. The truck has looked a like for 20 years and I was wanting something different. I just changed my truck to 5 lug and put steel wheels on it. A guy I know suggested the Orange and then he painted the original hub caps black and silver as original and then put a orange bowtie with maroon outline to match the truck. What do you think? Sorry for the pictures but this is all I have for now.

Looks good Todd-nice to see something different! I see you have the same problem I have-I keep forgetting to tell the guys to put the wheel weights on the inside of the rim! hehe

Here's mine. I've been thinking of putting some 15x10 aluminum wheels on it but everybody tells me to leave it alone. I'm still undecided and would love some input.

I like the old school stuff but not necessarily stock. Just what I had in high school!

I was thinking about getting the same set for my 77' Chevy C10! Do the front wheels have 3 3/4 backspacing? Is the second pic the front wheel and how well did it fit?

First off...Welcome to the board. Secondly, the post you quoted is over a year old and the person who posted it has had their account suspended.

Here's mine. I wish I knew what kind they were. I kinda Like them. Only seen them on a few other trucks.

I wish they were wider too. But all this wishing makes me think, "Wish in one hand and...."

Try again by hitting "Go Advanced" . Then, scroll down and you'll see "Manage Attachments" and hit that. Five "Browse" boxes will show that will connect you to you picture files where you click the picture and then "Open".Then hit "Upload and wit, then "X" that page out, type in something and "Submit reply".
