Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)
Hey guys I am glad you all have been happy with the results of the conversion. It is a simple product but most would spend more time working out the bugs that what it cost to get a bolt in ready to go bracket set up.
Thanks again and their are about 10 kits left after the other 2 that went out today. Kevin LFD Inc. |

Just sent out payment. I have spent about an hour trying to mount the 72 hardware to an earlier cab and did not realize the three holes did not line up. Was pulling my hair out and decided to check out site for sollution and found your thread. Halaleuia!!

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)
I have been working in attaching the new bracket converting my 67 cab to 72 gas pedal linkage. I did not realize the problem otherwise I would have welded in the holes in firewall. I used longer screws to attach bracket and put rubber washer and steel washer to cover holes.

I would use the screws provided and then get some rubber plugs from the parts store and cap your holes. It will leave you with a cleaner look.

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)
Paypal payment sent! I guess i'm one of the late ones that hasn't caught this thread earlier, but this is exactly what i've been looking for! I just picked up a pedal assembly from the junkyard for 15 bucks. I'm going to enjoy the look much better than the Lokar setups that are out now. Billet aluminum to me is such a dated look. Thanks again!

I would but cant find any plugs that do not have holes in them. I will keep looking.
