I have picked up a complete LS1 and 4l60e trans from a 2002 trans-am. so the next thing is to get that sucker into my truck! sooo that being said who has done this and can give me a some pointers! I have everything including the complete harness and engine plates to install into my truck. thanks to Rick for lighting the fire under my butt again.

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
well boys here's the deal! I have been working my tail off and have been wrapping up some big projects at the shop. only problem is I haven't touched my truck in oh, forever?? now here's the kicker, I have sold all my projects and have such a little amount of work left to finish this truck its retarded that I haven't just made it happen. for once it's not about the cash flow, it's a lack of go go!! I need a little kick start to get back at it. perhaps the fact that I haven't had a week off in over two years is my biggest problem, so that being said, how about a little friendly kick in the ass from the boys on here to see just how fast I can get this orange and white c-10 finished up! snow sticks to the ground here at the end of October so my days are numbered, but a little summer cruise time is still a possibility. Sooo, that said bring on some motivation for me boys, because I need it!!

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
My project is soooo close maybe a few weeks worth of work but lacking the motivation as well. Maybe this can be our motivating support group. I'll get back to mine if you get some more updates going on yours so you can be driving before snowfall. Chop chop
