This build is making me reconsider going Drag and putting but rims on and hitting corners.

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
been a long couple of days. no work at the day job so i have worked on the truck. i am sick of grinding and blending!! slid rear in this afternoon and started box mounts. threw 4 in the scrap pile to get one. the front two need to be raised to match the rear mounts. kelly showed up at the shop from florida today. wants to raise the floor in the bed sides the next couple of weeks while he is in town. scored some original frame rivets and tool today. want to use as many as possible to make it look factory-ish.

very cool! Now I will always wonder if trucks are all original since the frame rivits can be replicated

the rivets are a buck or two each and the tool was $18 i think. i'm going to try it later.

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
It's so cool that you put the frame bracing on the inside of the frame and left the outside smoooooooth! It's the best kickup I've seen. Nice work. I'm interested to see the use of rivets too.

Nice panhard bar bracket. Curious - What will keep the panhard bar from sliding up and down during agressive cornering, besides tightening it until star tight?

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
How much of a kick up did you go with on your rear frame or is that determined by the ride height you are shooting for? Best work I've seen This is exactly what I want to do with my 72 SWB. Any input would be appreciated
