Re: My 1959 Fleetside Build
Sounds good. Can't wait to see it finished up! Good luck on selling the old house.

Re: My 1959 Fleetside Build
Well... It has been a while. I finally got my truck in the garage to work on. Finished up working on the new house and have some truck time now.
I have worked on the floor for a month now. I had cut so much to allow for my S10 frame years ago that I had to rebuild the floor. I used the 4WD cover to allow for my tranny height. It is all done now and I am motivated to work on it. |

Re: My 1959 Fleetside Build
Making progress. Got the hood mounted. Put in the front and back glass. Lots of little ( but time consuming ) stuff left to do. I am motivated. Shilo Black is putting me to shame.

For the first time ever I took it out on the road and headed to a local car show. It did great. Everything worked. I recovered the seat with a Brothers kit. I got the whole family out to the show. |

I recognized that truck right off the bat, really enjoyed your build thread. I wish I had the $, would make for a Merry Christmas to park it under the tree. |

Re: My 1959 Fleetside Build
I picked up a great panel I want to build. It is in fantastic shape and came with a truckload of extra parts. (New clip and doors in the boxes) Now I just need to convince the wife I need both of my trucks.
