I bought a 72 2wd Cheyenne Super from the original owner a few years ago. it was nice truck but I took it apart and restored everything. I took it back to show it to the original owner, and I guess he remembered it when new, because in his mind it looked just like that when he sold it to me.

It's funny how they see things. Only we know how much works goes into them.

Hello Justin,

You know that I really like your Zoie Jane build. Can't wait to see it done.

My original plans where to finish my Camaro, then the C10 Cheyenne and finally the K10. With the original owner's widow wanting me to do it first the whole order has changed.

The K series really grow on a person. When my wife first seen the K10, she said why would you want a farm truck. Now she gets it and really likes it.

Every truck seems to have a story. We were just lucky enough to have this one or it to have us.

Thanks for the compliments.

Hello Coop,

Sure like your very nice K20. I have looked at your build thread several time. There are so many nice builds on this site. The K-series are becoming very sought after and we're fortunate enough to belong in that club.

Great job on yours. Thanks for complimenting ours.

Dang that turned out sooo good! That color combo is phenomenal. Refreshing not to see the interior plastered in black, "although still nice" , not many like this one. Which I like..

My dad had a 72 K10 when I was growing up. I think that's why I really enjoy these trucks. I'd like to find 1 to build, there is a lot of them around here sitting in barns and fields. The problem is convincing the owners to sell. The ones that will sell want a premium. I know where there is 7 complete trucks (all 67-72 body style) sitting and rotting away.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my build.

Thank you so very much Shawn.

The colors are a beautiful combo indeed. Whenever I get a chance I just sit and stare at it. Need to get better pictures of the saddle interior taken and posted.

Still can't believe I get to be the caretaker of this truck.

Re: 72 Cheyenne K10 SWB Numbers Matching

The K10 has been accepted into the Boise Roadster Show. Time to do some cleaning. Plans are now to show it at this high quality venue, then drive the crap out of it.

Thank you for checking out our K10 journey.

Looked over your builds and I sure like them also. I've been a follower of the K20 short bed for awhile.

Thanks! After going through this build thread, I'm working on my brother to ditch the 35's and get some 33's like you're running. lol

I've been thinking the same thing. I was pretty sure that I was going to put 35's back on my truck, but those 33's look so perfect that I've been really thinking hard about going with 33's.

Glad you guys like it. The 33s and 4" lift just seem to fit our trucks. At the Boise Roadster show I thanked a women for her people's choice vote on the K10. She knew her trucks and explained what all she liked about it with the stance and tire fitment being her favorite attribute.

Thank you for posting the pictures.

The K10 won first in class. Response from the crowd was unbelievable. People love the 67-72 trucks.

I need to get some more pictures posted myself.
