Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

looks low enough to me , you can go lower but with a static drop you prolly need to drive around anything more than 1 inch deep to keep the oilpan under the trck

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Much lower and you may have issues with the c arms hitting or turning issues. In the picture you can see the c arms are not far from the ground and the tire is close to the fender and could cause problems for you. I know when I drive mine real low I have to raise it up some to turn and depending on the road the arms do drag, also you from valance will hit speed bumps.
Looks good the way it is.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Thank you all for the comments. I have a disease, never low enough. I know it is close but I think I can get another inch or close to it. My control arms drag from time to time around town and can hit pretty hard on the right bumps, but that doesn't bother me much. I used to be into slammed VW's, you have one of them on the ground you also have an extra oil pan on hand for when you smack it. But we will see what I think about the height after I try some wheels on for size.

My drop: flipped the rear, plus shackles. Front springs & spindles. My tires are Cooper Cobra 245/60/15.

Actually its just a Performer non air gap dual plane..the spacer was added to keep the fuel a little cooler going in and to also keep the throttle from hanging. Right now its a 305 4BBL 625 Cfm Demon Carb..TH350 with B&M Stage 2 shift kit.
