Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
I had to order the inner bearing for my '72 from Napa. Tore down the Selectro hubs, cleaned, oiled, reassembled, ready to go. I hope to find new stainless bolts & lock washers for them tomorrow, and pick-up the bearing

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
I rinsed off my new (1970) core support and am letting it dry in the sun. I also wire brushed off a bracket, washer, and nut and put on a coat of NAPA Rust Treatment. I also have another bracket undergoing ERR.

This was an afternoons worth of work... If I ever find the person that put that white strip down the center of the bed....
Tomorrow... start pulling out and filling in the divits and finish pulling the bottom of the bed.

Yesterday we painted the doors and the bed. Today I married up my replacement 350 and installed hooker headers.

Went to the dump. Then to the hardware store.
Then to the grocery store. That's it for today. Pretty boring, huh?

All I could do today was measure for my "D" ring towing hitch. I'm going to try and cut the 2" tubular steel tomorrow in welding class.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Well, I didn't want to brag. But I had "The Boss" with me.
Before we made it to the supermarket, and after a nice ride in the woods all the way around Bass Lake to the dump (Where they said, "Cardboard?" "Old Bike?" "Two old printers?" "That's all for the recycle." "Bay One" "No charge."), The Boss said, "Hey, I've got twenty cents off a gallon for gas." "Let me buy you a tank." After the store, I asked her if she wanted to drive. She just looked at me like I was nuts. She can drive like Parnelli Jones. But she likes to ride. A Good Day. Nice ride. Then, when we came home, I tinkered a little with the motorized bicycle.
