Exactly my thoughts, I know they don't look factory correct - but not being in an accident trumps that.

Are they plug & play? Makes it look more up to date, to bad they don't make them with a LED blue dot.

Piece of cake. The 3 wires on the LED have a socket like a light bulb, all you do is pull your bulb and insert this one. The LED panel is completely sealed, so no worries if your gasket isn't perfect.

Found a couple other fourms talking about wet sanding with a DA, pros & cons. Kind of like buffing got be careful on the high spots I edges. The second link has a vid from 3-M on it.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Wow so I tried to read it all and started off really upset about cutting up a Minty fresh original burb but this looks amazing. I got to page 50 and wanted to see the finished product so I skipped some. Is looking great I love the truck. Youve done an amazing job and I wish I could see it in person

Not only a mint burb but a pretty sweet truck too. I just about had a fit the first time I read this thread. I couldn't believe what he had done! But once I got to the meat of the build it didn't take long to figure out some sacrifices need to made to make a sweet ride like this.

I assume you have the wood grain version to match the side trim not the black version.

I really like that band and will definitely put it on my fleetside 4x4.

I have already apologized for desecrating the Suburban, please don't hate me.
As many Suburbans as there are out there that people are having to give away, I didn't feel so bad using one to create something spectacular. Now if I had cut it all up and not finished - that would be a completely different story. I would have even hated me!

Wrenched my back again today on the ski slopes, please pray for a speedy recovery. Thanks.

I'll pray for yours along with mine.

And I don't hate you for cutting up the Burban. I'm sure the guys who bought the patch panels off you don't hate you either!
