Re: What did you do with your truck today, Part 3
What's funny is I eat ANYTHING, I go to restaurants with food from all over the earth, Afghani, Pakistan, Mexican, Korea, I LOVE food. I go to a different restaurant every time ordering the first thing I don't have any idea what it is on the menu! I LOVE food and am blessed with all we have just blocks from my house let alone the whole SF bay area.
So the funny thing, I went out with my brother yesterday who is NOT like this. We went to a 40 year old Americana restaurant at a ledgendary location in town. I have seen photos of this building (different name) in the fifties. I got a boring old American lunch that was miles from the crazy stuff I usually get. So it's damn funny that my brother who freaks about the stuff I usually go out and get took me to a place that got me sick as a dog! I am still feeling pretty funky but it's NOTHING like I felt yesterday. That was really really bad. Brian

Re: What did you do with your truck today, Part 3
so you didn't get your 5 min in on the truck? BAD SANTA!!
when I lived in Hayward we always went to this little hole in the wall Mexican place on A street. seems like the board of health was always shutting it down. I love all kinds of food and im convinced that the spices used in international food is better for you than the bland American style dishes. have a Merry Christmas. |

Re: What did you do with your truck today, Part 3
Well - I didn't eat anything exotic today (my wife is making "stir fry" for supper, though...), but I DID get to do a LITTLE on my 47. I managed to get the front axle on and bolted down, the front shocks installed, and a few small items painted. Not much, but any progress is progress...

Re: What did you do with your truck today, Part 3
Sooooooo, I ended up in the ER yesterday, WHOO HOOO
Stayed there until after midnight so I was in the ER on my birthday, is that cool or what! Food poisoning, virus, they aren't quite sure. All I know is it felt like my intestines were tied in a knot with a 5lb rock trying to get through! Yep, I was feeling almost normal by then though so believe me it was a GREAT birthday present. Re: What did you do with your truck today, Part 3
Thanks Jim, I just opened my birthday gift from my family, an inflatable kayak! I have wanted to get one for so long, never bit the bullet so it's damn cool they chose it for me. I can't wait to get out and give it a try!
