Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

thank you !! Well after yesterday's crash diet my fan shroud lost a little of her modesty, instead of covering her "tanks" now she is going to go with a Brazilian cut and just let those bad boys shine !! LOL, here is the updated, much slimmer version of my fan shroud

hmmm it would be a good idea to add a hookup for an extra battery outside of the truck like behind the rear licenceplate aspecially if you have doorpoppers as whell

On my longbed project I used to have, I was going to have the posts and also have a quick connect for an air hose connected to my tank so I could either fill it if the comps broke....or use it to fill my tire/friend's tire if someone got a slow leak flat...

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

i was thinking about it but figured that when the power is off the airvalves dont work either

i seen some people with pickuptrucks use industrial co2 cylinders with a simple pressurevalve and no pumps watsoever there getting quite a few hops out of those
if you hook up a small cylinder like one out of a fire extinguisher/paintballgun to the tanks you should be able to lift it one time

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

Thank you ! here is a pic for JTP67-72, shot of the carrier bearing and the bolt inside the yoke that bolts them together after you press the bearing on. Sorry for the terrible pics i should have slid a piece of white posterboard behind it , i didnt know they came out this dark !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

I think the color you're going with is a little lighter and has a bit of grey tint to it. At least that's what I remember from your previous post of colors.
