Here is a truck I saw today for sale at Bill's Truck Shop in Coutrice Ontario. It is from California, the sheet metal is near mint. the drive line I was told is toast. as is much of the interior. It has a Department of Defense decal on the windshield.

Is that GMC name plate in the grille correct? I have a 1963 and its way different than that one.

Per the attached link the square grille letters are unique to 1966 only. Details are about half way down the page:

Revoh- I wouldnt touch the patina on that truck. It is PERFECT. IMO I would just hammer that thing, but even if that is not the route you are going I still wouldnt mess up that patina.
