converted the column from a shift on the tree auto to a floor shift column, tore it completely down, cleaned everything, re-greased, and painted.

Tonight I put on a new hood to cowl seal from GMC Pauls. Very impressed with the quality as well as the way it fits.

Installed the rear sway bar... Anyone know what shocks I should be using up front with the 5.5 inch drop?

Looks like a clean setup. What brand is that swaybar? Looks like it would need the bed removed to install it.

You would have to unbolt the bed and lift it on on blocks a few inches... Its a No Limit sway bar

I will check it out. Might be a option for one of my trucks but I want to get one for my Suburban. I have been looking at a few different setups. When you get some road test time please let us know how it works for you.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I've done next to nothing over the last two months. Football season nearly over, it's getting warmer and I'm anxious. Can't wait to get to the front end and engine compartment. Will be a breeze after dismantling the cab.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I know a lot of guys like factory seat covers. I do as well but I work for a leather company that sells only the highest quality leathers so that is what I went with. This past weekend my upholstery guy finished my seat so I added new rubber floor and new sill plates as well. I also added a new shift boot as mine was torn, Its surprising how much quieter it is in my truck!
